This Privacy Policy applies to www.safaria.lk, to any additional online or offline marketing material we produce, and to any personal information you share with Safaria ( “we/ us/ our” ) when booking or enquiring about our safari experiences, cabana stays, photography tours or other services.
Using our website, emailing us, calling us, filling out our contact form, or otherwise communicating with Safaria means you consent to the practices described below. We may update this Policy from time to time; any changes will appear here with a new revision date.
1. Who We Are
Safaria (registered in Sri Lanka as Safaria Experiences (Pvt) Ltd) operates eco-friendly safari and accommodation services around Wilpattu National Park and adjacent reserves such as Kala Wewa Sanctuary.

5. International Transfers
Our booking systems and email servers are hosted in Sri Lanka, and some cloud services may store data in the EU, the United Kingdom or the United States. We rely on contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses) and secure providers to protect your information abroad.
6. Data Security & Retention
We employ SSL encryption, access controls, and staff training to keep your data safe. While no online transmission is 100 % secure, we follow industry best practice.

Retention: Booking records are kept for 7 years (tax & legal obligation). Marketing consents are stored until you unsubscribe. CCTV at our cabanas (public areas only) is retained for 30 days unless needed for incident review.
